Kharina

The Silk Veil Dancer

Kharina was born to poverty in Velmorath's Fringe, selling her body for bread before she understood what bodies meant. Her salvation came through observation: she noticed how the Silk Veil Dancers moved through the Velvet Ward, untouchable, worshipped, their bodies transformed into instruments of transcendent art. At sixteen, she petitioned the troupe for apprenticeship, offering her life in exchange for transformation.
