🔥 Slowburn v1.66.0 Patch Notes

Another week, another model... September's newest Model Update introduces Hanabi- a new option for free tier users to try out on stories when they prefer something a bit more lightweight. Hanabi excels at bringing out a softer style of narration that tries to focus on the character(s) and their nuance, instead of the world itself. It is best used for one-on-one stories, with not much going on. I'm sure that after longer, more intense roleplay sessions, it can feel like a breath of fresh air :}

✨ New

• Hanabi - Slowburn's newest introduction. Quick, conversational (a bit chatty at times), and open to everyone.
• Updates made to Kindling, Ember, and Cinder to further hone their unique 'voice' and style of prose/narration, while addressing some of their common AI-isms.
• Portrait mode improved- you can now set tags to different images in your character's image gallery, and have them change proactively according to the scene. Also the image will be set as the background when on mobile view in chat.
• Proper nouns may show up in messages as clickable- sometimes allowing you to view the details of them if they are a Character/NPC/Lorebook Entry.
• Updates now live in the Notifications section- this helps keep everyone up to date, even if they aren't in the Discord
• Badges now should decorate your username across the platform when equipped!
• You can now tap an uncolored line of dialogue to tag it properly.
• You can now update relationships within a story after updating your Lorebook's relationships wheel (additive, not overhauling).
• Notifications in the right sidebar when new Journal entries are made

Fixes & Changes

• Tried to fix scene time/location header being generated even when it should be disabled
• Made improvements to banned word / phrase detection and removal
• Made improvements to memory retrieval and usage
• Made improvements to narrative stall breaking
• Fixed issues with journal entry duplication and rewinds not working as intended
• Made some error messages clearer
• Made attempts to improve chat reliability
• Regeneration suggestions should no longer be 'loading' forever
• Character generation / scaffolding retries on network errors instead of quitting
• Lorebook relationships no longer have blank / empty pairs
• Made overall UI/UX improvements across some parts of the platform, Home, Library, Profile, etc...
• Creator cards made more minimalistic
• Improved Author's Notes / Custom Instructions
